AME Ltd was established over 40 years ago in Shenstone, near Lichfield, and have become a trusted, reliable, independent garage for all kinds of car, van, and motorhome repairs and maintenance.

We have a team of highly skilled technicians who genuinely care about the work they do; customer satisfaction is paramount, along with workmanship which exceeds expectations. We build long-lasting relationships with customers, and we’re now seeing a second generation of customers choosing us, as their parents have.

Our full-height workshop entrance and ramps which will lift up to six tonnes mean we can accommodate the largest vans and motorhomes with ease. We carry out Class 4 MOT tests on-site, and can arrange for Classes 5 & 7 to be done nearby.

The vehicle servicing capabilities we have makes us a real alternative to expensive main dealers; we can service all makes and models (except electric) of any age, keeping any manufacturer warranty intact, for a fraction of the cost. All our work is guaranteed for a minimum of 12 months or 12,000 miles (whichever occurs sooner), which gives new customers extra peace of mind when they use us for the first time.

We can provide a courtesy car (subject to availability), a local collection and delivery service, or a comfortable waiting area with complimentary refreshments and free WiFi if you prefer. If you only need new tyres, we also offer a mobile tyre fitting service.
